In continuing the series of disclosing my beliefs, we come to the subject of illness and disease. Much has been written in metaphysical circles on this and other details of the human condition. I remind the reader that the cycle of humanity is a long game, encompassing many lifetimes on this earth. Afflictions in one lifetime can spill over into the next.
Once upon a time, there was a land far away where an evil virus scourged the populous. In this land was a lady, not quite old but not quite young. She lived with a handsome warrior who thought himself old but had the strength of a champion.
Humans do not change anything voluntarily. We need an incentive. Our world, pre-Covid 19, was going off the rails.
A linen envelope hastily opened, lies on the desk franked with foreign stamps. The worn edges and a smeared address graced its expensive vellum from the many hands it passed through on its journey to her door. The tale it imparts if we would but observe its condition.

What do we do with this "bad thing" that has suddenly turned up in our lives? We can have a variety of reactions so let's explore some of these and possibly why the darn thing happened in the first place.
Recently in the news, there has been a flurry of outrage, indignation, and disgust regarding the separation of children from their parents who happen to have entered the US illegally under the existing law. Most of these are from Mexico. At present, there are approximately 2,000 children in shelters near the Mexican border while the parents are incarcerated in a separate place...Why would a family want to leave their country and do it in a manner that is fraught with danger along with possible criminal repercussions?
While reading a friend's post documenting her journey of a bone marrow transplant she made the comment that her bone marrow level was now at 95% donor.
