Heal the Self = Heal the World

I worked for a podiatrist for several years. Patients would come in with hurting feet and ankles, exclaiming, "When your feet hurt, you hurt all over!" I knew what they meant. Headaches were my nemesis.

I had been asleep to so many things. Obviously, my own emotional baggage accounted for much of my lethargy. I was in denial of how my behaviors contributed to my illness.

Nothing Can Stop What is Coming

Nothing can stop humanity from evolving. Oh, it may seem a bit delayed but inevitably man's progress forward happens. If you look at our present trajectory, we were right on schedule for an awakening. We were becoming more unified and humane compared with past eras. We were seeing the good in each other and not always the bad. Altruism was on the rise. Doing good deeds were becoming the norm. Integrating Societal Duality- Part Two

In Part One of Integrating Societal Duality, I introduced you to the Service-to-Others (STO) orientation of a portion of humanity. In Part Two, we will explore the Service-to-Self section of the population. Keep in mind that folks you know, yourself included, have components of each of these two ways of being. To know which camp you are genuinely a part of is in your intent and the percentage of time you live in each state.

Regrets

She got out of her nearly paid off Mercedes as she closed the garage door, walked up the steps and opened the kitchen door.
